Connect a small photovoltaic (PV) solar panel array through the unit directly to the existing thermostat of your geyser. No need to replace the element. Start saving electricity costs straight away. Use it on its own in an off-grid setup or connected to the grid (through a geyser timer to limit grid access) as backup for those cloudy days.
