We reserve the right to correct errors, omissions, inaccuracies or update the information, product description, title wording and sale prices at any time without prior notice. Should you cancel your order after your item has been dispatched, the delivery charge will not be refunded. You will also be liable for the transport cost to return the item as well as a cancellation fee of 15%.
Deliveries to outlying/rural/informal settlement/reserve/estate, or any area consisting of entry fees, will incur a surcharge that must be paid by the customer in addition to the existing order value before delivery. If such payment for the surcharge is not made, your order will not be processed. We do not deliver heavy/oversized products to any houses/flat, or buildings containing stairs. Please ensure that suitable arrangements are made on your side, to have the product/s moved into your home. Deliveries will only be made to the delivery address selected on checkout.
We are not liable for inconvenience or delays caused by the couriers/or for any loss/theft, or damage during shipping. Signing the POD from the courier serves to confirm that the parcel was received in good order. Dispatching of parcels, and Courier Delivery is done from Monday to Friday excluding weekends and Public Holidays.
You must contact us within 7 days regarding any fault/defect/damage, or discrepancy of an item, from the date the item was received. You will be required to provide proof of such, as well as a copy of your original TAX INVOICE. Do not remove the product from its original packaging, or any of its stickers/labels, or tamper with or use the product in any way. If the product has been used or tampered with or defaced and is not in the condition it was dispatched in, you will be liable for a 15% handling fee plus delivery costs to return the unit. Items damaged upon delivery and NOT noted upon Signing the POD (proof of delivery) from the courier, will then serve to confirm that the parcel was received in good order. The Buyer will be charged a handling fee on returned goods at a rate of 15%
The following will NOT be regarded as defects/faults/damages: - Faults arising from wear and tear/damages resulting from user abuse/rodent/insect infestation/connection to incorrect voltages/negligence, or incorrect use of the product/Failure to adequately care for the product or damage due to unauthorised opening or alterations to the product/Damage arising from electrical surges/sea air corrosion/natural causes/Incorrect or inadequate installations not done by registered and traceable certified installers, or without certification documents that are required by law/Goods used for any purpose other than which it is intended i.e. commercial use of domestic appliances You will be required to provide pictures or videos of said fault/defect as well as providing a copy of your original TAX INVOICE, as well as all relevant legal certificates that would have been issued upon installation of an item (where applicable). The goods must be returned to us in the condition they were dispatched and undamaged with all seals intact, complete with all packaging and manuals, and relevant items supplied with the unit.
We reserve the right to have the goods referred for technical assessment by the manufacturer and to revert to the client with feedback within 14 working days of receipt of the product. The item will be assessed for defect, damage, or misuse or if the item is still in good quality. If it is reported that the goods were misused, then Gas and Solar Appliances (PTY) Ltd will not replace or refund the goods.
Refund only applies to the price paid by the consumer, for the goods purchased, less any amount that may be charged such as on shipping costs or admin fees. If an unwanted product is returned to be exchanged for a different product, the customer will be charged or refunded any price difference, plus charged for handling fees and delivery charges.
Appliance warranty will be null and void if not used in accordance to the manual/ if the product is purchased and not retained for use within The Republic of Southern Africa (excluding Lesotho & Swaziland). Warranty null and void if you break/damage/misuse any product/or if the serial number of the unit has been altered/defaced, or removed, or if unauthorized repairs are attempted or if the product is not installed by a registered, certified installer that can be traceable, and has provided the necessary legal documentation required for installation on the product. Failure to produce your ORIGINAL TAX INVOICE will result in charges being applied for any work done, even if the appliance is stated to be within its warranty/guarantee period. All warranties or guarantees supplied with the products as sold by Gas And Solar Appliances (PTY) Ltd are at the Supplier's discretion
