Major Tech

Returned Product Conditions:
• The products are in resaleable condition with the packaging, manual and all necessary accessories.
• The packaging is not damaged and there is no writing or stickers on the packaging.
• The item and its packaging should be packed in a separate bag or box (to protect the packaging when in transport and to prevent the courier from putting stickers on the item’s packaging) when the courier comes to collect it. Should the item not be received in ideal condition, we will not accept the item back.
• Proof of purchase needs to be presented on request
• Once returned to Major Tech, products will be thoroughly inspected to ensure no damage has been done to either the product or packaging and it is still in a resalable condition. If the product is unopened or has a manufacturing fault, you will be refunded, or the product will be replaced as per your preference.
• The customer has 5 business days from when the item is delivered and signed for to determine whether they have the right item that suits their needs. Within these 5 business days, the customer should raise a dispute / request a refund through Leroy Merlin Marketplace for Major Tech. Any disputes that arise after 5 business days will be dismissed and the customer will no longer be eligible for a return and refund due to the “incorrect” item ordered.
• Major Tech reserves the right to charge delivery and collection fees should the product returned have no defect or manufacturing fault
• The customer agrees to cover the delivery fees as charged by Major Tech in such instances where the order was incorrectly placed but the product was supplied as per the order

Product returned due to product fault:
If the product is found to be faulty and the fault falls within Major Tech’s warranty conditions, customers can request a replacement, the product to be fixed or a refund. Major Tech reserves the right to decline a refund after 30 days from receiving the product.

Product Warranties
The warranty granted by Major Tech is in respect of product faults that are as a result of a manufacturing defect. Customers cannot claim under the warranty for products that have been damaged due to negligence and/or incorrectly installed, connected, or used. All products under question will be examined by our repairs department to determine if the product is in fact defected or if it has been misused.

The warranty applies from the date of purchase. The following steps need to be followed when submitting a warranty claim:
• The claim must be submitted in writing with images and must document the defect relating to the product. The claim needs to be given to Major Tech by the Customer within 30 (thirty) days of the defect first becoming apparent to the Customer
• The relevant product must be made available to Major Tech for inspection in order to determine the validity of the claim
• The defect must have arisen as a direct result of the manufacturing process and not due to negligence or misuse on behalf of the customer
• Major Tech shall be entitled to either repair or replace the defective product
• Should Major Tech elect to replace the defective product, the defective product will become the property of Major Tech
• The product must not have been dismantled, altered, or tampered with.
• Products need to have the original packaging if the warranty is being claimed within the first three months of the purchase.
