WHO WE ARE
Legend Housewares was established in March 1996 with the view to creating an alternative to the traditional suppliers of household kitchenware in Southern Africa. Our vision was to supply a quality yet affordable range of kitchenware to specific retail market segments. We focused on offering new and innovative product ranges and this has been maintained over the years by constantly updating our ranges and bringing the latest trends to the market.
The company has grown substantially from its small beginnings, and with that growth we have created a dynamic management team and staff compliment, who are committed to supplying a consistently high level of service through our divisions of sales, marketing, administration, procurement and logistics. We have an extensive sales & distribution network throughout South Africa, as well as in Namibia and Botswana.
Legend Housewares now has 3 of its own brands in the Southern African market, namely Legend, My Pan and Snappy. In addition to these brands we also represent several international brands such as Magefesa, Trudeau, LocknLock, Kitchen Inspire, Vitrex, Meliconi and Taste. Our team takes great pride in offering you our commitment to service excellence.

QUALITY CONTROL
Legend Housewares supplies products which have been thoroughly tested and quality controlled. Legend Housewares endeavors to always conform to the Consumer’s Protection Act.
WARRANTY
The warranty stated on all Legend Housewares packaging and online will be honored if a product is deemed to be faulty due to defective materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover misuse or abuse of our products.
UNWANTED GOODS
Goods delivered that are unwanted may be returned for a refund within 5 business days from date of delivery. All returned goods must be returned in their original packaging (undamaged), and unopened. Return costs will be borne by the purchaser. These goods will be subject to a 25% handling charge. Delivery costs will in no way be refunded. The costs of returning unwanted goods will not be for Legend Housewares account.
FAULTY PRODUCTS
Legend Housewares reserves the right to inspect all products deemed to be defective, before agreeing to a repair or replacement. Faulty products within the warranty period can be returned at our cost, for repair and if unsuccessful, replacement. Should a purchased product not operate as intended or be classified faulty within 14 days from receipt, Legend Housewares will cover collection and redelivery costs of your item. This does not cover willful neglect and failure to follow instructions.
After 14 days, but still within the warranty period, should you wish to return your product, delivery costs will be for your account. If the product is faulty Legend Housewares will repair or replace the item and redeliver the item at Legend Housewares cost – as fast as possible. Should Legend Housewares be unable to repair or replace, you will be refunded the initial cost of the item in question as per your invoice.
