Returning goods falls under the purview of the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 ("the CPA"). If you have the legal entitlement to return a product, aligned with the CPA, a handling fee of up to 15% of the item's value may apply if the product and packaging aren't in their original purchase condition.

We will not accept returned items if the consumer has inspected them before purchase and subsequently changed their mind, damaged the product due to negligence, disassembled or permanently altered the item, used it against our or the manufacturer's instructions, or subjected it to misuse or abuse.

In adherence to the CPA, all goods inherently carry an implied warranty, granting consumers the right to return defective items under section 20 of the CPA. Additionally, our goods may include a manufacturer's warranty, concurrent with statutory protections. Amonet.co.za is obligated to accept returns of unsafe or faulty products within six months of delivery. If the product doesn't meet the standards outlined in section 55 of the CPA, consumers can return it to us if:

Within 7 days, they find the product unsuitable for its intended purpose as per section 55(3).

They haven't examined the product and rejected delivery for reasons in section 19(5).

They've refused delivery due to mixing with unordered items as per section 19(8).

Customers have the right to cancel online sales within 7 days after receiving the goods for a refund. You can also cancel due to delayed delivery, exceeding the specified timeframe.

If the goods are found not to be faulty, you'll be responsible for handling and shipping charges, collection, and redelivery if the items were damaged or faulty due to misuse, abuse, or negligence.
