Warranty and Return Policy:
At SA Wind Energy, based in South Africa, we are dedicated to delivering top-quality products and outstanding customer service. To ensure a smooth and reliable experience, we have outlined our warranty and return policy below:
General Warranty:
All products sold through our online store, excluding the Generator motor, are locally manufactured and come with a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. If any issues arise within the warranty period, we will assist with returns or exchanges in line with the terms of our policy.
Generator Motor Warranty:
The Generator motor, being an imported product, carries its own two year warranty and return process, managed and assisted by SA Wind Energy. In the event that your Generator motor is found to be faulty, the following procedures will apply:
Return Process:
If you suspect that your Generator motor is faulty, please contact us within 30 days from the date of purchase. We will arrange for the collection of the faulty Generator motor from your location.
Inspection and Replacement:
Once collected, the Generator motor will be sent to our supplier for inspection. If the fault is confirmed, we will issue a replacement unit.
Turnaround Time:
The entire process, including collection, inspection, and return of the replacement unit, will take approximately 30 days.
Return Eligibility:
To qualify for a return or replacement under warranty, the product must be in its original condition and, where applicable, in good working condition. Proof of purchase will be required for all warranty claims.
Process for Returns and Replacements:
To initiate a return or warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your order details and description of the issue.
For Generator motors, we will coordinate the collection and return process with our suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of the replacement product.
Exceptions:
Items that have been damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs are not covered under warranty.
Claims made after the applicable return period will not be processed.
