1. Waterberg Group Warranty
Waterberg Group warrants its products to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for 3 months from the original date of purchase.

Please note that the following exceptions apply and will void the warranty:

Damage caused by misuse or failure to operate as specified or intended: This includes, but is not limited to, using the product in ways it was not designed for, or not following the provided instructions.

Damage due to incorrect installation: Products must be installed according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

Damage due to exposure of electronics to water: Unless the product is specifically designed and advertised as waterproof, water damage to electronic components is not covered.

Damage due to unauthorized product modifications: Any alterations or repairs not performed by authorized Waterberg Group personnel or approved service providers will void the warranty.

Damage caused by negligence or failure to properly maintain products as specified: This includes not performing routine maintenance as outlined in the product manual.

Damage caused by failure to maintain water chemistry in conformity with the standards specified for the equipment in use: For products requiring specific water chemistry, adherence to the specified standards is crucial.

Damage caused by freezing or operation outside of pressure limits: Products must be operated within their specified temperature and pressure ranges.

2. Returning Faulty or Defective Goods (Under Warranty)
If your product is found to be faulty or defective and falls within the 12-month warranty period (and is not subject to the exceptions listed above), you may return it. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you have the right to choose one of the following remedies:

Repair: We will repair the faulty goods free of charge.

Replacement: We will replace the faulty goods with a new, equivalent item.

Refund: We will provide a full refund of the purchase price.

For faulty goods, Waterberg Group will cover the cost of return.

3. Goods Damaged Due to Negligence
Goods damaged through negligence or any of the exceptions detailed in Section 1 (Waterberg Group Warranty) are not covered by our warranty and cannot be returned for repair, replacement, or refund.

4. Return Procedure
To initiate a return for a faulty or defective product:

Contact Us: Please contact our customer service team at [email protected] to report the issue and obtain a return authorization.

Provide Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., original receipt or invoice) is required for all warranty claims.

Assessment: Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will assess the product to verify the defect and confirm it falls within the warranty conditions.

Remedy: Once the return is validated, we will proceed with your chosen remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) as quickly as possible.

5. Other Returns (Non-Faulty Goods)
Please note that, in line with South African consumer law, there is no general right to return goods due to a change of mind or if you simply no longer want the item, unless it was purchased through direct marketing and returned within the CPA's "cooling-off period" (5 business days from delivery, where you pay for return shipping).

In instances where a non-faulty product is returned and accepted at the discretion of Waterberg Group, a return cost of R139 will be deducted from your refund or store credit. This acceptance is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

6. Important Considerations
Packaging: Please ensure products are securely packaged for return to prevent further damage during transit. Include all original accessories and parts.

Your Choice of Remedy: For faulty goods within the 6-month period (as per CPA), the Consumer Protection Act gives you the right to choose between a repair, replacement, or refund. Waterberg Group will honor your choice, provided the defect is not insignificant or caused by you.

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe (typically 10-15 business days) once the return has been validated.
