At Kwik Kat Distributors, we take great pride in the quality of our products and the care we invest in packaging and delivery. This Return & Refund Policy outlines your rights and our commitments, in full compliance with South African consumer laws.

1. General Return Conditions
Returns must be initiated within 7 days (for online orders) or 10 days (for in-store purchases).
Products must be unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
Proof of purchase (order number) is required.
Returns must be pre-authorized by our team before sending items back.

2. Change of Mind / Incorrect Item Ordered
Notify us within 7 days of delivery.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. In the case the customer is unable to return a product, a collection fee will be applied.
A 9% handling/restocking fee will apply.
Returned items must be in unused, original condition.
Note: Used, damaged, or incomplete returns will not be refunded in full and may be refused.

3. Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)
As per Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA):

You may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving it.
A full refund will be issued (excluding courier fees) if the item is returned unused and in its original packaging.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
No handling fees apply to cooling-off cancellations.

4. Defective, Incorrect, or Damaged Items
We offer replacements, repairs, or full refunds if the product is defective, incorrect, or damaged (after verification).
If delivery was made using our own vehicle (within our trade route), we take full responsibility for delivery issues.
If a courier was selected and paid for at checkout, you are responsible for lodging any damage claims with the courier. We will assist with documentation.
Customer Inspection Required:
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If visibly damaged, refuse the delivery and notify us within 24 hours.
If delivery is forced, note “DAMAGED” on the POD and report it to us within 2 hours.
Failure to inspect or report timeously may invalidate the claim.

5. Return Shipping Responsibility
Returned items must be securely packaged.
We are not liable for goods damaged during return transit due to poor packaging.
Refunds may be denied or reduced for goods returned damaged (unless courier-related and properly documented).

7. Refund Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 30 calendar days of approval and inspection.
