Collection of Returns

If you are unable to return the product yourself, a collection can be arranged on your behalf.

A collection fee will apply, which is determined by the courier
This fee may be charged to the customer, particularly where the item is not defective


Damages and Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, report this through the Leroy Merlin platform as soon as possible so the issue can be assessed and resolved promptly.



Returns in Terms of the Consumer Protection Act

All returns are handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

Customers may return goods in line with their rights under the CPA
If an item is returned for reasons other than being defective, the customer may be responsible for return shipping or collection costs
If an order is cancelled after it has been shipped, the original shipping fee may still be charged

The quickest way to exchange an item is to return the original item via the Leroy Merlin platform and place a new order once the return has been approved.



Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via the Leroy Merlin platform whether your return has been approved.

If approved:

We will enable the refund on the Leroy Merlin portal
Leroy Merlin will process the refund directly to the customer using the original payment method

Refunds are processed in accordance with Leroy Merlin’s timelines and procedures
Assessment and processing will be completed within a reasonable timeframe after the returned goods are received
