Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

• Open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
• Participants must be subscribed to both the Leroy Merlin newsletter and the Leroy Merlin Loyalty Programme at the time of entry and at the time of winner selection.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Leroy Merlin South Africa or its partners are not eligible.

2. How to Enter

• Share a photo or a short video (maximum 30 seconds) showcasing how you’re using a product purchased from a Leroy Merlin store or via leroymerlin.co.za.
• Proof of purchase (till slip, invoice, or online order confirmation) may be requested before awarding a prize.
• Participants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must feature a different product or project. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified.
• Each approved entry counts as one valid chance to win.

3. Content Usage

• By entering, you grant Leroy Merlin and its affiliated brands the right to use your submitted content across marketing channels, including social media, website, email, and advertising campaigns, without further compensation.
• Content must be original and owned by the participant. Entries containing third-party, stock, AI-generated, or copyrighted material will be disqualified.
• Offensive, inappropriate, or misleading submissions will not be considered.

4. Entry Approval

• All entries are subject to moderation and approval before being entered into the prize draw.
• Leroy Merlin reserves the right to reject incomplete, unclear, fraudulent, or ineligible entries.

5. Competition Period & Prize Allocation

• Winners will be selected every 30 days during the competition period. Each draw will include all approved entries received up to that date.
• Once an entry has won, it will not be eligible for future draws.

6. Prizes

• Prizes will consist of products from Leroy Merlin’s in-house brands.
• The exact prize will vary each month and will be announced with the winner.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. Leroy Merlin reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if required.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be chosen at random from the pool of approved entries.
• Winners will be contacted via the email address linked to their loyalty account within 7 days of the draw.
• If a winner does not respond within 5 days, an alternate winner will be selected.

8. General

• No purchase is required to enter; however, entries must feature a genuine Leroy Merlin product.
• Participation implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
• Leroy Merlin reserves the right to amend or cancel this competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Leroy Merlin’s decision regarding winners and competition matters is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
