Care & Use: We recommend that you clean your Soshida Gas Pizza Oven after every use. The inside of the oven is, to a great degree, self-cleaning. For the cleaning of the outside of the oven, if it is necessary, a damp cloth may be used, but we suggest never using soap or water inside your oven. If you do have food debris on your stone or on the inside of your oven, simply run it at a high temperature for 20 minutes. This will get rid of any debris and keep the stone as hygienic as possible. Once the stone is cool, clean it immediately using as little water as possible. Do not immerse the stone in water and never place it in the dishwasher as it is made of a porous material and water can deteriorate its quality and cause it to crack when exposed to heat. Ensure the placement of your Gas Pizza Oven is on a hard, level surface, of either metal, stone, or wood.
