This installation includes:

  • Removal of existing tap.
  • Installation of tap according to manufacturers instructions.
  • Installation of any under-side gaskets, washers or retaining plates required.
  • Connection of tap to main water supply.
  • Application of silicone where required.

This installation excludes:

  • Any modifications to pipes, water supply and/or waste systems.

If your project does not fit the terms and conditions or the service framework, an additional quote will be made on-site by Kandua, LEROY MERLIN’s certified contractor. This additional quote will be directly paid to Kandua, or to another contractor of your choice. If your project is different to this service, we will provide a customised solution. If you accept the project, the call out will be free of charge. Otherwise, a call-out fee of R250 will be charged.

Terms and conditions

  • The installation area must be cleared, prepared and emptied of all obstructions.
  • The existing waste and water supply will be used for the installation and should be in good working condition and conform to standard regulations (PVC drain pipe). No modifications will be made.
  • The number of holes must be equal to the new tap purchased.
  • If waste included in the product, the existing waste from the old tap must be removable without risk.
  • Guarantee of a one (1) year warranty on installation.

The service is strictly limited to the work described and declared in conformity with the above within a radius of 20km from the store. Any other specification identified by the installer, which does not comply with the standards, or does not comply with the rules applicable, as well as generating changes to your facility are not included in this benefit. Beyond 20km an additional trip may be charged (see an advisor). Package applicable on many products, see information from our sales advisors.

The installation date will be set by both the client and contractor. (maximum 15 days after the products are available on sit). Your project will only proceed once payment has been made in full. Only valid from products purchased from LEROY MERLIN South Africa. If your product is a special order, a minimum of 50% deposit will be required. The rest will be paid when collect the product or before delivery. LEROY MERLIN’s certified contractor, Kandua, proceeds upon the agreed date.
