This installation includes:

  • Tracing and cutting (where required).
  • Assembly of laminate floors (including providing space for expansion).
  • Checking of gaps after joints are closed.
  • Application of silicone sealant.

This installation excludes:

  • Removal of existing floors.
  • New levelling & screeding.

If your project does not fit the terms and conditions or the service framework, an additional quote will be made on-site by Kandua, LEROY MERLIN’s certified contractor. This additional quote will be directly paid to Kandua, or to another contractor of your choice. If your project is different to this service, we will provide a customised solution. If you accept the project, the call out will be free of charge. Otherwise, a call-out fee of R250 will be charged.

Terms and conditions

  • The installation site must be accessible, cleared and emptied of all furniture.
  • If the floor is heated, it must be less than 28 °C, should have been turned off 48 hours before installation and purchased laminate flooring must be compatible with underfloor heating.
  • Guarantee of a one (1) year warranty on installation.

The service is strictly limited to the work described and declared in conformity with the above within a radius of 20km from the store. Any other specification identified by the installer, which does not comply with the standards, or does not comply with the rules applicable, as well as generating changes to your facility are not included in this benefit. Beyond 20km an additional trip may be charged (see an advisor). Package applicable on many products, see information from our sales advisors.

The installation date will be set by both the client and contractor. (maximum 15 days after the products are available on sit). Your project will only proceed once payment has been made in full. Only valid from products purchased from LEROY MERLIN South Africa. If your product is a special order, a minimum of 50% deposit will be required. The rest will be paid when collect the product or before delivery. LEROY MERLIN’s certified contractor, Kandua, proceeds upon the agreed date.
