All AfriTrail, Oztrail, Seagull, Gro, Camp Fire, Companion, Elemental Products and Schou branded products come with a manufacturer's warranty only for non commercial products:
Seagull Industries (Pty) ltd warrants all relevant products under the relevant brand we represent products sold in South Africa against proven
manufacturing defects of material or manufacture for a period of 2 years for Oztrail and 1 year for the rest of the brands from the date of initial purchase.
Seagull Industries will repair or replace the product, at its discretion, should a warrantable defect arise within the warranty period. If the exact
model is unavailable a model of equivalent nature will be substituted at our discretion. This warranty excludes faults and failures caused by
improper use and negligence ; fair wear and tear; or failure to follow instructions regarding care and maintenance. Products used for a
commercial nature are not covered by this warranty against defects. A warranty may be claimed by returning the product to its place of
purchase, with a detailed proof of purchase clearly showing the date and detail of the purchase. You may also contact Seagull In dustries (Pty)

The benefits under warranty against defects are in addition to other rights and remedies under law in relation to goods.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA). You are entitle d t o a
replacement or refund for a major failure, i.e manufacturing default , within the stipulated period. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In any instance where there is a conflict between any warranty statement provided with the physical product and this web page , the warranty statement provided with the product shall prevail.
What is the process for resolving a warranty issue?
There are a number of ways to claim on your warranty:
First contact the retailer from which the product has been purchased to report the problem and ascertain the necessary step to be taken.
Return your product to the retailer. This may mean to their physical shop front or their online sales department if you bought it online. The
retailer will then handle your warranty negotiations with Seagull Industries on your behalf.
Ship the product to our warehouse. You can ship your product to Seagull Industries; however, this will often slow the process down for you. We
recommend contacting the Seagull Industries Head Office prior to making use of this option to ensure your product is managed through
this process.

For Bestway:
1) When a client returns a Bestway pool due to a problem it is required and forms part of standard procedure for the item/s to be inspected to
determine as best possible the cause of the problem. PLEASE NOTE: The relevant warranty ONLY cover manufacturing default.
2) If the front returns clerk is unsure regarding cause of problem please email an image of the default/damaged area to either
[email protected] or [email protected] for assistance.
3) Any Bestway item which requires a refund/replacement must first be authorized in writing by an authorized Seagull Industries (Pty) Ltd
representative. Please note that in the case of any claim, all relevant documentation must be presented to the above email address, i.e.
1. Bestway Warranty form completed in full by the
consumer
2. Proof of purchase
3. Image of default/damaged area on product
Kindly note: If the above three steps are not adhered to the request of whatever nature cannot be processed.
4) Once written authorization has been confirmed via email by the Seagull Industries representative the required process will be communicated via email. Commencing the relevant standard procedures can be initiated. Please note all correspondence to be via email in the interest for record keeping.
